Experience – precision – safety. With around 1,500 robot-assisted procedures performed annually, the urologists at CRMG Gronau are among the most experienced experts in their field in Europe.

Welcome to the web pages of the Urology Department at CRMG in Gronau. Find out how robot-assisted surgery is able to help a great many men with urological conditions.

Dear patient,

robot-assisted surgery represents a major advance in urological surgery and offers patients with conditions such as prostate or renal cancer a multitude of advantages.

Here in Gronau, we helped pioneer this technique in Germany. We have been successfully using this technique at our Prostate Center Northwest (PZNW) since 2006. The centre now features a total of three of the latest generation of da Vinci® systems. Over the intervening years, we have been able to perform more than 15.000 robot-assisted operations, making us one of the largest centres for robot-assisted surgery internationally.

By founding the Center for Robotic Medicine Germany (CRMG), we are bringing the interdisciplinary robot-assisted surgery expertise and the experience of our urologists, gynaecologists and surgeons together under one roof.

This website is intended to showcase the range of services and treatment options we offer using the da Vinci® system. We also refer you to the Prostate Centre website at www.pznw.de and the Urology Department web pages at www.st-antonius-gronau.de.

My team and I will be happy to answer any questions or provide any additional information you may require.
